Let us take you through a tour of our offices, so you’ll be comfortable when you arrive.
When you first walk in the door, you’ll see the reception desk to the left and the waiting area. Check in at reception so we know you’re here and we can ensure all the paperwork is done well in advance. It’s also a good spot to fill us in on details that may have changed since you made your appointment. We have a range of magazines for men and women (current ones!), a children’s corner, and comfortable seating.
Surgery 1 is the straight off the reception and features a balcony view and one of Dr Ian’s portraits. It has a great view of the trees and birdlife.
To the right is our OPG (orthopantomogram)room. This is where the dentists take panoramic x-ray views of your lower face on a single film. This enables us to see the health of your jaw, as well as the number, position and growth of all of your teeth (including ones not yet surfaced or erupted.)
Room 2 is our storeroom.
Surgery 3 is at the end of the hallway on the right, and features more of Ian’s photography; he does like taking pictures of flowers! While we see patients in all of the rooms, this is where Dr Ian most frequently spends his time (maybe it’s the double balcony view ;-)).
Directly across the hall from room 2 is the comfort station where you can brush your teeth, fix your hair or wash your hands. If you need to brush your teeth on arrival, speak with our receptionist, and she’ll be happy to provide one for you.
At the very end of the hallway is our staff room, and where we relax with a cuppa from time to time.
